Day 4 – Cebu Travel Diary

Wow. I can’t believe we’re now on our 4th day of my Cebu Travel diary. Way back September 26th, I could even still remember the sadness I felt that day because I’d be leaving Cebu and be back to my real world in Davao. Not that I don’t like Davao, but the fact that I’d have to get back to work is what saddened me. 😴 Lol. If only traveling was free, you’d never see me again. Or we could also travel together! Why not?  😂

We woke up very early that morning to pack our things, prepare and fix ourselves, then immediately went down to the hotel’s cafe to have our free breakfast. Then we proceeded to the nearby Shamrock Souvenir Store and bought some pasalubongs.

We also had a quick gala to the Cebu Provincial Capitol thereafter.

It is Cebu’s provincial government in the Philippines, which is located at the north end of the Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City. And Juan M. Arellano [a Filipino architect best known for the Manila Metropolitan Theater (1935), the Legislative Building (1926; now the National Museum of the Philippines), and the Manila Central Post Office (1926)] who designed the Capitol.

Aaand with the help of google map, I noticed that La Vie Parisienne isn’t far from the Capitol. So we went to ‘Parisian Life’ or La Vie Parisienne – a French bakery situated in Lahug, Cebu City. The back area has chairs that change lights during nighttime and pink tree resembling cherry blossom trees of Japan. It could’ve been better to visit the place at night because they have great lights, but of course, we couldn’t. But take it as a tip! If you’re planning to visit the place, go there at night to see colorful lights while drinking wine and chill with friends. 😉🍷

Before going back to the hotel to get our baggage, we had our late lunch at Zubuchon. Wrote about it here. 🍴

Goodbye for now, Cebu! Thanks for the memories! 😘

Have you also been to Cebu? Do you know what other places or activities to do there? I’d love to know them and might consider and include them on our bucket list. 😉

Yes, we should! It was actually one of things we wanted to try. And unfortunately, time did not permit us to do so. 😩 But hopefully, soon we could go back to Cebu and try canyoneering 😃 Btw, thanks for dropping by! 😊
